it's crazy, it was like 92 here today. I mean really WTF! gimmie back my snow.

I can't wait to get to assesments this weekend, I've been SO out of the loop for a while now and it feels good to get back in to the saddle, per say. I really need to get a new set of boots to fight in, any suggestions?

I got a pair at SCAboots.com and have been extremely happy with them. They have zipper on the outside, but it blends in nicely. I put Dr.Schols in them and they are just as comfortable as my cross trainers.

Be careful though, the person they have wearing them on the website is much taller than he looks.

yeah, thats pretty much what I had last time. on the up side they are cheap, and cheap is good :) On the down side, they are cheap. On my last pair the heel didn't just blow out, it exploded! all of gulf this year I was fighting with my foot about 1.5-2 inches off the back of the sole, not good :P

a bit more expensive but they are period and should last :) I'll post a review after assessments.

Dude, you could pretend to be Don Robert with those...
I never tried on the boots, but one problem I had with their "sueded medievel shoes" was my feet slipping out. Actually, that was my one problem I had with them - otherwise I'd have a spiffy looking set of medieval looking shoes.
